Driving community impact through shared learning and networking are things that drew Madeline to the innovation space. Madeline has a degree in Physics, after which her passion for working with people using tech ignited and led her to joining Jokkolabs Banjul. she centers her work is center around startups and entrepreneurs to run the leadership , entrepreneurship and awareness programs for female start-ups. In Addition ,Madeline has trained over two hundred women in digital security, digital skills, and advocacy, working closely with women in rural Gambia. she has also worked with kids using design thinking, coding, and creative reading & writing to introduce innovative approaches towards teaching and learning. She an avid data enthusiast with passion of ensuring there is a meaningful access in education with focus on coding and digital illiteracy. Madeline is a volunteer for the Gambia Internet Governance Forum and the sectary of The Information Technology Association of The Gambia. in November 2022, she took part in the 17th Annual Internet Governance Forum held in Ethiopia as a Un Economic commission for Africa (UNENCA) Volunteer under the Reporter Group. Madeline was also a fellow for ZOVU Digital Storytelling 2022. she is a passionate SDG and Climate change Advocate, which inspires her to use data, storytelling and research to shed light on the impacts of climate change in The Gambia.
